Modular Zone
Modular Zone is a mattress designed to offer a personalized sleep experience. The mattress uses 3D printed lattice springs and bio based foam compartments in place of traditional foam and springs. Three basic modules and an optional reinforcement module can be combined to adjust firmness. Internal sensors monitor sleep posture and heart rate, and an AI model provides configuration recommendations. A cool breathable fabric with micro air channels improves heat dissipation. The cushioning structure is inspired by automotive suspension systems and allows local repairs.
Modular Zone Mattress by Sweetnight was recognized as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Modular Zone Mattress received the Silver A' Design Award in Bedding Design in 2026. The A' Bedding Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that celebrates excellent design of comforters, duvets, quilts, bedspreads, blankets, bed sheets, pillowcases, mattress protectors and more.
